These terms apply to the Mathapitha website and app, operated by HEALTHERP TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS LLP, Chennai, India. By using Mathapitha you agree to them.
What Mathapitha is
A care-coordination membership for parents and elders: a named care manager, coordination with partner hospitals, doorstep services, an emergency SOS that alerts our care team, daily check-ins and a Health Passport.
What Mathapitha is not
We are not a hospital, doctor or emergency service, and we don't provide medical treatment or advice. In any emergency, call 108 or 112 first. Medical decisions remain with the parent and their treating doctors. "Priority" at partner hospitals means faster administration and coordination; clinical care is always prioritised by medical need.
Who can use it
Adults aged 18 or over. Family members act on a parent's behalf only within the access the parent allows.
Membership and pricing
Mathapitha is pre-launch. Plans, included services, quotas and prices will be confirmed in writing before you pay. Services outside a plan's quota may be charged; we'll tell you the price before arranging them.
Your responsibilities
Give accurate details, keep your phone and sign-in secure, use SOS only for real emergencies or urgent help, and don't misuse the service or other people's data.
AI help
Optional, used only with the parent's consent, and every AI draft is checked by a person before it's used. AI output is not medical advice.
Partners
Hospitals, ambulance and home-care providers are independent organisations responsible for the services they deliver. We coordinate with them on your behalf.
Availability
We work to keep the service available, but it may sometimes be interrupted, especially messages that depend on mobile networks. Don't rely on the app as your only way to reach emergency services.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, or for acts of independent partners. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending your membership
You can stop at any time; refunds and notice periods will be set out with the confirmed plan terms. We may suspend accounts that misuse the service.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Chennai have jurisdiction.
